The Akron Community Foundation places the power of philanthropy with everyday citizens, allowing them to improve the quality of life in our community. Pamela Kiltau is on the Board of the Women's Endowment Fund, an affiliate fund of the ACF.

Women’s Endowment Fund


In 1993, a group of 106 women came together with one goal in mind – to make a difference in the lives of local women and girls. Seeing a need for funding to support programs that empower this population, the women each gave $1,000 to start the Women’s Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation.  Pamela sits on the Board of the Women’s Endowment Fund as Vice Chair.  She is also co-chair of major gifts and the Circle of Empowerment.

Rotary Club of Akron


The Akron Rotary Club aims to encourage and foster the ideal of service for our community. Rotary is an organization of professional men and women united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards and help build goodwill and peace in the world. The Akron Club was founded in 1913 and Pam was the first woman admitted into the club in 1987. She has served on their Board of Directors, is a past President and a Paul Harris Fellow. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Akron Rotary Foundation.

Rotary Camp


The Rotary Camp for Children with Special Needs, in cooperation with the Akron Area YMCA, offers children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to experience all the friendship, fun and excitement of camp. Pam is currently the immediate Past President of the Board of Directors and a current Board member.

Leadership Akron


Helps leaders see beyond their own spheres to the bigger picture of the community and inspire them to become more effectively involved as community leaders. Pam is a Leadership Akron Graduate Class of VIII and a current Leadership Akron Alumni member.
